Another day, another SOTM! Congratulations to the Student Government Division Student of the Month for December... Jesse Aldrich from Pasco-Hernando State College. Jesse was nominated by his advisor, Sandre Lyons.
Here is what she shared with us about Jesse: "Jesse became the heart of our campus activity, executing a successful Spring Festival as well as serving on the committees to help plan the Women’s History, Earth Day, and the NAMI 5K run. He has created a sense of community and shows service in all tasks he takes on. He has become indispensable to our campus.
A few years ago, Jesse stepped up as the President of the Student Government Association when there was a vacancy. This enabled him to lead the group from the front, not the position he had sought but had indeed earned. He proved his devotion through hard work and integrity. This year despite health difficulties in his family, he still attends his meetings. He stepped up in the role of Vice-President and has helped the president keep order in the meetings by monitoring the zoom chat and addressing each question or situation that arises."
What an honor to have this individual part of the Florida College System Student Government Association (FCSSGA). Another congratulation to Jesse Aldrich, our FCSSGA Student of the Month, and thank you to Ms. Lyons for nominating him!
