SGA Student of the Month: November 2021

SGA Student of the Month: November 2021

Congratulations to Kendra MacGeorge, Florida SouthWestern State College, for being recognized as the FCSAA SGA Division Student of the Month for November! Kendra was nominated by her advisor, Rebecca Fahrner.

Here is what Rebecca shared with us about Kendra: "Kendra serves as the President of the FSW-Lee Campus Congress, and an officer of the College-wide SGA. In her time as a student leader, she has helped to restart student life here as we continue to welcome more students back to campus. She has done this through actively recruiting more students to participate in the Campus Congress, as well as being ever-present to coordinate and assist at all student events. With her high level of leadership and involvement, Kendra still manages to maintain high performance academically, and she is on track to graduate this Spring.

Kendra has been central to the leadership of a number of initiatives here at the College. This includes the Welcome Week Campus Crawl, Coffee with a Cop, Constitution Day, and SGA survey tabling. Additionally, Kendra has been active at the State level through her participation in Rally in Tally and the President's Assembly. She is currently working with our One Book One College initiative to explore how FSW can provide more plant-based food options in our dining areas."

What an honor to acknowledge Kendra. Congratulations to our SGA Student of the Month and thank you to Ms. Fahrner for nominating her!
