Congratulations to the FCSAA Student Government Division Student of the Month for January... Faith Macomber of Lake-Sumter State College! Faith was nominated by her advisor, Jennifer Unterbrnk.
Here is what Jennifer told us about Faith: "Faith has truly embraced the virtual SGA world. She has gone above and beyond to find tools for the board members to stay engaged and communicate. SGA decided collectively to not only work not only as each specific campus but also as a collective LSSC student body. Faith has been the one who has kept all of this going. Her dedication to SGA has been the reason why SGA has been successful!
Faith has been an amazing resource for me. In these unprecedented times, the commitment she has shown to SGA and Student Life is one that I never expected nor could have asked for. Faith’s growth has completely amazed me. She was a very timid student when we first met and was not one to state her opinion. She is now the person I recommend to fellow co-workers when they ask for students to be apart of committees or attend events. Faith is the student that embodies LSSC and a wonderful spokesperson for her students."
