Introducing our SGA Student of the Month for April... Kristopher Hart from St. Johns River State College! Kristopher was nominated by his advisor, Destiny Schaffer. 

Here is what Destiny shared with us about Kristopher: "Kristopher Hart is the Palatka campus SGA President and has demonstrated again and again his commitment to the role. Kris is a dual-enrolled student and will be graduating this Spring with his high school diploma and Associate in Arts degree. Despite his busy schedule, he has remained active as President and has brought many ideas to the table for future SGA members to come. Kris is always ready to help his fellow students along with the faculty and staff on campus. He has helped lead tours on campus on top of planning events and even stepped in to lead our recent Spring Social event. He is always polite and respectful to everyone he meets. This is Kris’s second year in SGA and even though I’ve only been in the advisor role for a year, he has continued to amaze me and his fellow students here on campus and I can’t wait to see where he goes from here. It is an honor to nominate Kristopher Hart for FCSSGA Student of the Month.

While attending the most recent FCSSGA Leadership Conference, Kris actively participated in the discussion of the planks and asked questions to clarify the bills that were up for voting. He researched each one extensively and listened to his peers’ opinions before making his own judgments. He met with other SGA members to discuss how to improve engagement here on our campus and reported back to his team to hear their thoughts and opinions. He is constantly bringing ideas to each meeting and has been very active in supporting our local businesses by suggesting them for our future events."
