Congratulations to the Student Government Student of the Month for September... Tobiasz Sawczuk from Palm Beach State College! Tobiasz was nominated by his advisor, Isreal Perez! Here is what Isreal shared with us about Tobiasz:
"Despite not being a U.S. citizen, Tobiasz demonstrates a deep commitment to American politics and civic engagement. As the Student Government Association (SGA) President at the Boca Raton campus, he dedicates over 10 hours per week to advocating for student interests and fostering positive changes on campus. Tobiasz has collaborated closely with the student trustee and the Provost to implement a series of impactful, albeit more minor, changes that benefit the student body. In his continued efforts to amplify student voices, he is organizing a Town Hall with the Provost to address more significant issues and advocate for broader campus improvements. His dedication to creating an inclusive and responsive campus environment highlights his passion and commitment to leadership.
Tobiasz exemplifies leadership by setting high standards for himself and his executive board while fostering a collaborative and results-driven team environment. He leads by example, ensuring he is actively engaged in the work rather than merely delegating tasks. Tobiasz frequently addresses challenges directly, offering constructive feedback to his team to ensure progress and maintain momentum. His leadership style encourages accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement, enabling him to inspire those around him while ensuring the organization's objectives are met effectively."
Congratulations, Tobiasz!! Thank you to Mr. Perez for nominating him!
