Indroducing our Publications Student of the Month for October...  Ashley Brace from the College of Central Florida! Ashley was nominated by her advisor Melissa Schuck! Here is what Ms. Shuck had to say about Ashley:

"Ashley has been a consistent presence in The Patriot Press for multiple terms. Ashley's writing and editing expertise has been an invaluable addition to The Patriot Press. Ashley has dedicated herself not only to writing quality articles, but also to helping other members of The Patriot Press polish their articles. Ashley is also an effective editor--she provides upbeat and positive editing experiences for all writers.

Ashley has immediately leaned into her new role as Managing Editor: Copy by making herself open and available to help all members of The Patriot Press, especially new members. Ashley has been exceptionally proactive with reaching out to writers to offer assistance during all stages of the writing process. On one occasion, Ashley accompanied a new writer to an interview to provide leadership and support."
