Introducing our Publications Student of the Month for November... Jossette White from Lake Sumter State College! Jossette was nominated by her advisor Toni Upchurch! Here is what Ms. Upchurch shared with us about Jossette:

"Jossette is currently serving as the Editor for the Angler, our student lead publication. She is a hardworking and exceptional student. Aside from returning to school to embark on a career in the medical field, being a wonderful mother to five children, and working in a career while attending Lake Sumter State College, Jossette is also a dedicated member of the Angler staff. She manages the website, writes for the publication, and serves as our editor. She exceeds my expectations on a daily basis- whether it attending to the many administrative details, encouraging her fellow writers, or offering guidance in the writing process, Jossette is a wonderful attribute to the Angler team and is worthy of acknowledgement. I am so very pleased to write this recommendation to celebrate Jossette as the Publications Student of the Month.

Jossette is a demonstrated leader. Her dedication to maintaining a high GPA and her devotion to her education are only the start. She spends countless hours in the Angler office weekly working to keep the publication current. She is also willing to represent the Angler while supporting many of the Student Life and Career Services events on campus. Additionally, despite her hectic schedule, she will stop what she is doing to be fully present when her teammates need advice, support, or encouragement. Jossette, I am so grateful for your continued contribution to the Angler team!"
