Forensics Student of the Month: September

Forensics Student of the Month: September

Congratulations to the Forensics Student of the Month for September... Jackson Chmielewski from Tallahassee State College! Jackson was nominated by his advisor, John Schultz! Here is what John had to say about Jackson:

"Jackson has shown an immense love for forensics since the first week of classes. He has willingly thrown himself into all areas of the activity and ecstatically seeks out knowledge and growth from his coaches. He was the first-place speaker in Slam Poetry and 3rd place speaker in Dramatic Interpretation at the Tennessee Valley Invitational that our team competed in this fall, and he continues to show promise as a valuable member of our squad. Jackson constantly works on developing his events, takes great stock in what his coaches tell him, and strives to be a better version of himself as a speaker and competitor every single day.

Jackson is easily the heart of our team this year. He is enthusiastically supportive of his teammates, spending many hours outside of practice helping them workshop their events, and even tags along to rounds to watch his fellow competitors whenever he can. He always arrives with a good attitude, diligently follows the guidance of his coaches, and helps others when they need it. He has expressed an interest in coaching when he finishes his career as a competitor, and it's very obvious in watching Jackson in competition and in team meetings how deeply he cares about the activity, his competitors, and his own personal growth. Jackson is a perfect example of a team player, and it's clear that he values the success of his friends and teammates as much, if not more, than his own."

Congratulations, Jackson! Thank you to Mr. Schultz for nominating him!
