Give it up for the Chipola College Brain Bowl team! These fellas captured the FCSAA State Brain Bowl championship at the tournament this past weekend with an overall point total of 4,980, topping runner up College of Central Florida with 3,035 total points.

 

Chipola also claimed the top points scorer with (1) Jeremy Scurlock. Rounding out the top five individual scorers were (2) Mafeez Ahmad from Central Florida, (3) Devin Tharp from Chipola, (4) Sahil Zaveri from Santa Fe College, and (5) Malachi Ingram from Florida State College at Jacksonville.

 

To note, Chipola also captured the NAQT Community College Championship in Chicago, as the top community/state college team in the country. And our thanks to Florida State College at Jacksonville for hosting the tournament!
