Congratulations to the Brain Bowl Student of the Month for March... Heloisa Carneiro from Valencia College! Heloisa was nominated by her advisor, Chris Borglum! Here is what Chris shared with us about Heloisa:

"Heloisa has worked hard to drastically improve her Brain Bowl play in her two semesters on the team. This culminated in her being the #7 overall scorer at the FCSAA State Tournament despite not having much time to prepare since her team was asked to fill in the day before the competition.

Heloisa recruited five other players currently on the team from her honors classes by actively talking up the team to others. She single-handedly built Valencia's B team from people she encouraged to join. She captains her team and always encourages and supports her teammates."
