Congratulations to Kianna Rodriguez, Pasco-Hernando State College, for being recognized as the second of two FCSAA Student Government Division Students of the Month for March! As a matter of fact, Kianna was nominated by a fellow FCSSGA member, Hunter Karius.
Here is what Hunter told us about Kianna: "It is with great elation that I nominate my friend, teammate, and Student Government Association Vice President, Kianna Rodriguez. Kianna is a full-time student at Pasco-Hernando State College’s North Campus pursuing a Bachelor of Organizational Management. I met Kianna prior to the fall 2019 term when she stepped into the unexpectedly vacant Vice President position without hesitation. Kianna has been an immense asset concerning the coordination and execution of events at our North Campus. She played a major role in the organization of the North Campus’ unprecedented Chinese New Year event which, was a huge success due to her efforts. Last year, Kianna decided to take her student government responsibilities to the next level by becoming the Region Two Secretary for the Florida College System Student Government Association.
Aside from her role as student government Vice President, Kianna is heavily involved on campus as revealed through her positions as a student ambassador and as a student worker in the financial aid office. Kianna’s positivity and motivation are something that makes her a huge asset in numerous different departments here at the college.
Although Kianna is uncertain of where her career will take her after her time at PHSC, she is diligently exploring different facets within her career field. I am confident that her abundance of wonderful qualities will make her a robust addition to any team."
What an honor to award this student, Kianna Rodriguez, as one of our FCSSGA Students of the Month! A huge thank you to Hunter Karius as well for nominating her. Thank you both for your continued support of the FCSAA!
